We all know that torrents are cool. Hell, since I learned to use them, I don't know what I would do without them. The ultimate way to get your hacked software and pirated movies/TV series (and, of course, the ever-important porn).
However, thanks to some good friends I made here in the U.S., I've discovered major online repositories of vintage and current movies and TV series, and I think that saving computer disk space is much easier when we don't have to depend on torrent-ing to get what we want.
Hail to free (i.e. open-source) software! =D Check out SourceForge for some pretty amazing free stuff. Also, if you're a person who moves around a lot, consider: PortableApps and MojoPac. 5 stars to PortableApps for the effort and everything else about it; 6 stars to MojoPac for the idea, but 2 stars for its current version.
