Well, here goes ... my first foray into the ambiguous and often-controversial world of blogging.
Hopefully some anonymous guy/girl/thing (hey, you never know) will see this blog, and leave an insulting comment that I can feel the pleasure of deleting. Or I may just disable anonymous commenting entirely. Just to make life simpler. So please, don't post any insulting comments at all, regardless of whether or not you know me or any other commenters on the blog. I will delete comments as I see fit.

Soo ... a run-down of my time so far?
Homesick, and procrastinating more than anything else. Oh, also wasting my parents' money on fast food. [Taco Bell = very tasty (-:]
Well, who wouldn't be homesick after close to 18 years' worth of familiarity? Although to tell the truth, I am fairly certain that once all my friends there have upped and gone, there won't be much to be homesick about. And a good proportion of my friends are indeed no longer in Dubai.
If you want to know the degree of my procrastination, consider this:
I am doing my Calculus II course for the third time.
The first time I took it in the Fall '07 semester, back home in Dubai. I got a C.
Passable. I could easily have moved on to Calculus III once I arrived in the U.S. But no, I wanted a better grade; so, I took Calc II in the Spring '08 semester here. And I got a C-minus.
Go figure.
So here I am, boring people with my life story, while my calculus homework waits. And there is not a day when I don't think about what could have been ... :-/
Yes, yes, I know, ambiguous ending. But then again, my thoughts usually make more sense to me than anyone else.
So I can only hope that a girl sufficiently like me will read this and perhaps get back to me.
